Tapping, also known as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), is a powerful tool that can help you let go of grief/loss and can help you rediscover yourself as you emerge from the darkness of grief.
It provides a safe and gentle way to release negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and self-doubt that may have shown up because of your loss. It helps you reconnect with old parts of you that you thought you had also lost and rediscover new parts of you as your identity changes. Grief and loss changes most of us forever, you may feel unrecognisable to yourself as you navigate your grief journey. Tapping/EFT is a really gentle tool to help you process these feelings and emotions.
By tapping on specific pressure points on the body, while focusing on your thoughts and feelings, you can address and release underlying emotions that are stored due to your grief and loss. I know from personal experience of grief and loss I felt a whole range of emotions from fear, anger, resentment to sadness, hopelessness and anxiety. EFT can help deal and shift these emotions and energies out of the body.
EFT is a self-healing tool that allows you to access your inner emotions and feelings, it helps process them in a safe way. The ultimate brain hack that sends a signal to the amygdala in the brain that switches off the fight, flight, freeze response. This reduces the cortisol and adrenaline in the blood, allowing the body to return to a relaxed state from where you will be able to work on the emotions and feelings you are experiencing caused by the loss and grief.
Grief and loss is one of the most painful and difficult things anyone has to navigate in life. It leaves us questioning so much and a whole host of emotions can surface. It can impact us physically as well as emotionally so once you have practiced this technique you will be able to continue to access the tool yourself as and when you need it.
We will work together for 3 sessions. Our first is for 75 minutes and the other two sessions for 60 minutes.
